OK no one is talking, so lets bump this one. Regarding Journey vs. Foreigner - depends who you were with. If it was the girlfriend, Journey. If you were with buddy's - then definitely Foreigner.

Well the last one didn't generate any interest... Let's try this one.

a)The dreck that the media attempts to pass off as unbiased journalism

Or

b) An incurable toe fungus that itches constantly and smells bad.

I realize that "b" sounds alot like a re-statement of "a" but try to answer anyway.

most episodes seem to be like a violent scavenger hunt across the greater LA and west valley areas, mixed with soap-opera writing and production mechanics.

Foot fungus

It will itch and burn, but the extreme pain of an abscessed tooth cannot be matched.

Slip ons---- until I had yet another baby grow to be a toddler. Try a breakout dash in slipons toward the toddler, who is trotting toward a freshly painted fence----and the slip-ons become silly--foot-launched-missles.

I think the correct answer depends on how you are getting along with the ole wife there eh' stat.

If yer sleep'in on that sofa, then you might just wanna try to enjoy investing in it - get something with good support.

I like to think of myself as an optimist, so I'm going for the mattress.

Polo----'cause you can take a nap in a polo shirt and still wake up without it looking like you've worn it for 3 days straight. The only exception is the hawaiian type shirt---but if you don't drive a Ferrari 308GTB and hang out with AJ and his chopper, than you're just a dork in a hawaiian shirt.

...On PI shows;

Rockford Files
or
Magnum PI

(incidentally, the theme songs were structurally very similar)--
1. the keyboard/strings hook
2. the electric guitar breakdown
3. the bridge
4. the reprise.
5. Then a "tada tada" brass hit.
I think that this formula is very intentional, but I dunno----ask Lou or Ray. I suspect Simon & Simon, Mcgiver and all the rest of the 3 decades of these type shows to have the same type of tune structure. Talk about Memes.

Rockford.

Magnum was just an updated copycat.

--------------------

If I recall correctly, both Rockford and Magnum themes were written by Mike Post.

Pretty sure he also did McGyver and a bunch of others including LA Law, NYPD Blue, Hill Street, and a lot of other stuff.

EST, ccccause it has a bbbbetter track record.

---------------------------------

Jack Palance or Christopher Walken?

Of course the films can't be compared. Note Jack's gun must have been the loudest handgun shot in movie history. I think they dubbed 4 gunshot sounds into one. The theater-going audience must've lept out of their seats back then.

Psychopath. It really was believable that in this movie his character as a child burned his own orphanage down, and his fellow kids "burnt up like candles."

That's a tough one Ray because both can be controlled by either leaving ones shoes and socks on or by not speaking...however, stinkfoot will contaminate an entire room where halitosis will only travel about three feet away. I pick halitosis. I've smelled some really bad stinkfoot before!!
